1996 McLaren F1 GTR Long Tail, Carbon Filament Body Prototype. Second picture is a close-up to show the extremely well-executed look of the car's 'carbon filament' body. A new line of limited edition resin models from Ixo that is apparently branded as 'MDC' although the only branding that appears with the models is 'www.model-car.com' which appears on the front of each model's base. Packaging consists of a cardboard sleeve with two rows of 'portholes' on the front and two more rows on the top. Limited edition - 1 of 999, but no edition certificate is provided. FOR ANYONE NOT FAMILIAR WITH HOW TO INTERPRET A MODEL'S SCALE, THE MODEL IS 4 INCHES LONG. THIS IS EQUIVALENT TO DIVIDING THE LENGTH OF THE REAL VEHICLE IN INCHES BY 43.
